_ Introducing Cam. 3.52kg sub adult male. Cute as a button and terrified!

Cam's rescue was called in by a really concerned young man by the name of Cameron  12.10am on Saturday night 22/4/12. He had been hit by a car  on Salamander Way , Salamander Bay.

Poor little bloke had no movement in his back legs. We did a mobility test with pretty grim hope.

What a privilege to bring him home and spend some time with him. He was terrified. The first night I thought he was going to pass away with all his panting and he looked to be fading fast. The next morning I found him out of his basket in the cot corner. What guts! He was going to get out, even if he had to drag himself!

We paid a visit to Dr Don Hudson noahs ark vet for x-rays and probably the Big Sleep. He came home that night, Dr Don Hudson Noahs Ark Vetmust have taken one look at his beautiful face and couldn't do it without a second opinion..

As we suspected.

_  Cam was euthanized with much regret as he was only just starting out as a big boy.

Ilona, Sue, Fran and I couldn't help but feel the tragedy of this terrible situation.

RIP beautiful boy.....
