This is little Fran. Rescued from Fran & Jay Gambles yard on Thursday
arvo. Was spottoed up a tree earlier in the day with a dirty looking bottom.
Asked Fran to contact me if she came down lower which she did. She is 4.9kg
and just an adult. She has wet bottom. Carmel got the experience of washing
her bottom which was fun. She went to the vet this morning and is on
Baytril. She is spending a couple of days at Jills house until Prince Paddy
is released then she is coming back to me for Annie and Carmel to look
after. Cheers Sue

Hi Everyone. Annie and I went to pick up little Fran from Jill yesterday.
. Annie also did the bitey
end when we got Fran out of the cage. And she did extremely well!!
Fran is doing small streams of urine which is wonderful and means the
antibiotics are kicking in. Cheers Sue

Hi All. Little Fran now has a fluffy, dry bottom!! Which is a wonderful
result after only 12 days on Baytril. I will keep her on the antibiotics for
another weekThen she will go in for a check and possible chip and OK for release. She's
a dear little girl but funny with her meds. She will let you put ointment in
her eye, she tolerates her injection, but you try and give her Zantac in
a syringe" and she stands on her head or worse tries to sit on
her head so you can't get it anywhere near her mouth. They are all different
I suppose. Cheers Sue

Hi Everyone. Princess Fran went to the vet this morning for an ultrasound. the ultra sound was inconclusive. But going on the fact that she has had a dry bottom for over two weeks and she is eating well and has gained 500grams Don said to stop the antibiotics and observe for 1 week. If she stays well he will chip her and she can be released. So I’m hoping Friday next week will suit everyone who wants to attend. Carmel works all week except Fridays and she has helped so much with her care it would be lovely if we could do it on a day when she can participate. Cheers Sue

Hi Everyone. Fran was microchipped and released today. She had been in
care 8 weeks yesterday. She seemed rather pleased to go and was rather
entertaining with some dare devil stunts that were heart stopping. So at the
moment I have no one in care which is the first time since August '09.
Phew!! Cheers Sue
