LEVI 10/9/2012

Picture
Here is the little guy! I'm not sure if you can make out
the injury to his chin in these photos, but that appears to be all that's
wrong with him. He's a very lucky little boy.He was taken to  Rod Starr the Vet after being hit by a car by a great man called Darwin.
Rod is very experienced with koalas so that was the perfect vet to
take him to. I would think he will only need care for a week maximum. Just
antibiotic cream to his chin.

Levi has no wounds inside his mouth and is very young. He only has a small
graze under his chin. He was microchipped today  and can be
released in a couple of days. So I'm thinking about the weekend. He is very
frightened and stressed in the cage, so the sooner the better. Cheers Sue

levi  is a very timid, stressed little guy. When Don saw him yesterday he said to release in 48hrs, but I though it best for today if he was going to continue being so stressed. His chin has only a minor graze so he will be just fine,
good luck and stay away from cars
