REGGIE 23/11/2012
Reggie was found in a tiny little silver dollar eucalypt at the back of Boat Harbour beach on Kingsley Drive this afternoon in a dangerous situation with no other food trees nearby. This is the silver one that Sue told me young males eat before starting to mate. It'd be the only one in the suburb but it was only a metre off the ground and very near the road where the buses hurtle around. Noel and I caught him and I relocated him to his usual reserve
REGGIE HAS BEEN IN THE CARE OF HUNTER KOALA BEFOR BELOW IS THAT STORY

Hi Guy's Al Mundey And I did a rescue of a small boy in Boat Harbour
this morning. He was trapped by colour bond in a back yard with no trees and
was sitting on the ground being patted by the elderly home owner. He had no chip so I called him
Reggie. He was stressed and panting and seems to have sand in his right eye.
So he is staying with Aunty Fran for observation and extreme spoiling
overnight. He went to the vet and Alex thought an overnight stay was a good
idea and chipped him while he was there. He has picked up remarkabley since
arriving at Frans , so it will probably just an overnight stay depending on
the eye. But how nice to have another Reg in Boatie?
Cheers Sue
P.S. he is very young and weighs 5.3kg.
