Welcome Sooty. Lets try getting those eyes better.
Thankyou to the home owners in Hanson Ave who got in touch. She was found, just the house side of the fence on the Proposed Fisherman's Bay Landcom development. Sooty is an old girl, eat tagged in 07 and released in One Mile. She is using the corridor from One Mile, Boat Harbour and Anna Bay. Landcom/Urban Growth are trying to tell us, there are no Koalas here. Wonder what Sooty, Maxine, Macy and Ziggy would have to say to that?

Good news for Sooty today. Dr Don did a fantastic ultrasound. Kidneys, bladder and uterus all clear and healthy. Little Princess is just being a girl doing dainty wees. Because she CAN! She came in 9 days ago at 6.5kg. She has put on 400 grams, 6.9kg. Eyes are a little slow getting better, but on the mend.

Sooty has a problem with her pumpkin. I'm not fast enough and it ends too soon!

Sooty is going home tomorrow. She is not happy without her morning pumpkin and still grabs at me every time I change her leaf. She sniffs my hands trying to see if I have any hidden. Her eyes are much better, but she is an old lady and they aren't as bright as they once were. Good luck beautiful girl.

Finally! Sooty is home!
The sun was shining and as soon as I opened the car door, she was sniffing and looking around, she knew where she was.
After many weeks in care and some interesting treatments, Sooty's eyes were healed enough for us... to give her a kiss and send her on her way. She took off up one of her well used trees and hardly looked back.
This plucky old dame is right where she belongs. Bless you dear lady. xxxx
