Worimi was found clinging on a pole
for a street sign, at Soldiers Point NSW.. no mother in sight, he weighed 1600
grams.. Too small to be on his own and would need supplementary feeds..
He is being fed on the logs rather than on a lambskin in the hope that we do not humanize him too much...He should have already developed all the climbing skills he needs for release... So the plan is to use the H.K.P.S SUNRICE REHAB to weather his coat and work on his muscle tone when he is weaned..

Eating well some mornings the leaf is just sticks.... does not seem to be jumping as much, though maybe that is happening at night.. Climbing well , the novelty has worn off the tree a bit.. The first three days he was never out of it ....
It has been hot here and Worimi sleeps in some unusual positions.... We have to sneek these photos as we are not to acknowledge him or he us... He must not learn to trust humans...for his own safety when he is released..

Worimi was release on 20 Jan 2012 in our “special
location” at Salamander Bay. He has a choice of leaf, if he did not like the
big Swampys he could continue to go further along or up higher and if he wanted
to , go all the way to Taylors Beach without seeing a person or a car.
Hopefully we will not see the young man again,we should know him instantly if we do as he has a Z in white on his rear and the pigmentation on his nose identical to his Mums.
STAY SAFE little boy !
